Position Overview

The Content Writer role involves producing diverse digital content, ranging from optimization briefs to fully fleshed-out articles, video scripts, and infographic text, for multiple clients. This position requires the capability to write material that simultaneously satisfies search engines, AI discovery systems, and human readers. You will thrive in evolving content workflows that include "human-in-the-loop" integration with AI tools, continuously refining your craft alongside technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create various forms of digital text content tailored for multiple clients.
• Collaborate closely within a fast-paced team environment including editors, fellow writers, and project managers.
• Enhance existing client content to improve relevance and authority in search results.
• Develop detailed content briefs to guide new content creation.
• Contribute to maintaining editorial standards and client-specific guidelines.
• Conduct research on emerging content trends to inform internal discussions and client strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 5 to 7 years of practical experience in digital writing.
• Demonstrated expertise in fact-checking and reporting standards.
• Comfortable and experienced with integrating human oversight in AI-assisted content creation, with eagerness to evolve alongside technology.
• Knowledgeable in SEO practices including keyword research and upcoming industry best practices for 2026, with an interest in AI Optimization (AIO).
• Strong attention to grammatical and detail precision.
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines effectively.
• Skilled in producing clear, compelling writing across diverse topics.
• Adaptable storytelling abilities to switch seamlessly between long-form and short-form content formats.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for remote collaboration.
• Preferred but not mandatory: experience writing about technology and/or financial sectors.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between $70,000 and $79,000 for full-time remote employment.
• Employees must reside in the United States and be available during East Coast business hours (9 am to 5 pm EST) for meetings.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Content and does not include supervisory responsibilities.
