Role Overview
The Content Strategist will establish and guide the comprehensive messaging approach across all content platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and video. This role ensures that all content consistently supports the company's objectives, resonates with the intended audience, and effectively drives engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing a detailed content plan through conducting content audits, competitive research, and audience analysis to create a robust content strategy and editorial calendar.
- Establishing and maintaining content policies, style guidelines, tone of voice, and best practices for SEO optimization and accessibility standards throughout the organization.
- Collaborating closely with marketing and product units to align content strategies with SEO goals by identifying key terms and optimizing content distribution across proper channels.
- Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators such as site traffic, session duration, and conversion rates to measure impact and steer strategic adjustments.
- Leading cross-departmental teams by managing writers, designers, and subject matter experts to ensure efficient and high-quality content production and delivery.
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a comparable discipline.
- Have more than five years of experience in roles related to content marketing, journalism, or leadership within content teams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SEO concepts and hands-on experience with content management systems.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, skilled in using platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar analytics tools.
