Job description
Position Overview
We seek a Content Specialist focusing on teen humor to join our remote team on a flexible, project-based contract lasting approximately one month. This role involves evaluating short-form comedic content targeted at North American teenagers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and review short-form humorous materials including memes, videos, posts, and scripts favored by North American teens.
- Assess humor using criteria such as cultural relevance, relatability, originality, and clarity.
- Compare and rank content within groups to determine relative appeal.
- Provide clear, detailed explanations for why content is perceived as funny, awkward, outdated, or confusing.
- Incorporate knowledge of North American teen slang, trends, and social customs when conducting reviews.
- Detect and describe recurring humor styles and cultural patterns within teenage communities.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be between 18 and 19 years of age.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of North American teenage internet culture and humor.
- Capable of objective humor evaluation, independent of personal taste.
- Proficient in articulating humor critiques in written form with clarity.
- Detail oriented with consistent approach to assessments.
