Overview

Blue Gems ABA Therapy is seeking a creative, hands-on content and social media professional to produce, refine, and guide high-quality material across social platforms, the website, podcast content, and wider marketing efforts. The role calls for strong video production ability and the smart use of AI tools to speed up workflows, stay current, and elevate overall content quality.

This position is best suited to someone who can take a raw idea and shape it into polished, attention-grabbing content, with a strong emphasis on short-form video that tells a story and has strong audience potential. The right person will bring creative judgment, practical editing skills, social media fluency, and the ability to manage content from concept all the way to publication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, produce, edit, and manage content for social media, website, video, podcast, and other marketing channels.
  • Create high-quality short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and similar platforms.
  • Develop original concepts, scripts, interview prompts, storyboards, hooks, and repeatable content series.
  • Capture and direct content featuring employees, leaders, clinicians, events, and company initiatives in a polished yet authentic style.
  • Edit content directly and coordinate external editors, videographers, designers, and other creative partners when required.
  • Use AI tools to speed up ideation, scripting, editing, research, production, repurposing, and broader content workflows.
  • Maintain the social media content calendar and support consistent, engaging publishing across channels.
  • Strengthen online communities through meaningful interactions, audience engagement, and relevant participation.
  • Spot trends, content formats, hooks, and storytelling techniques that can improve reach, engagement, and shareability.
  • Lead podcast planning, recording, production, and repurposing into short-form and social assets.
  • Adapt long-form content into short videos, social posts, website copy, email content, and other deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with graphic designers, performance marketing, recruiting, clinical leadership, and other marketing partners.
  • Monitor content results and refine future output based on views, engagement, audience growth, and business outcomes.
  • Travel occasionally to Blue Gems locations, events, and video shoot sites.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience creating and producing digital and social media content.
  • Hands-on experience with short-form video, including filming, directing, editing, and storytelling.
  • Strong editing capability and comfort with video editing and content production tools.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates engaging, polished, and effective content.
  • Solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and current social trends.
  • Creative instincts and a clear sense of what makes content engaging, shareable, and potentially viral.
  • Experience managing a brand’s social presence and content calendar.
  • Comfort interviewing and directing people who may be unfamiliar with being on camera.
  • Ability to use AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and consistency of content creation.
  • Helpful experience in community-building, audience engagement, and turning followers into brand advocates.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple productions at once.
  • Podcast production experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, education, or a multi-location business is beneficial but not mandatory.
