Job Summary

Dr. Scent is seeking a creative, digitally minded Content & Creative Specialist to join the marketing function in Sharjah. The role supports social media, ecommerce, retail promotions, marketplace activity, and partner-led marketing across the region.

The right candidate should be highly comfortable creating content in both Arabic and English, have a strong sense of visual presentation, understand consumer behaviour across GCC markets, and be able to craft engaging content for fragrance, lifestyle, retail, and ecommerce audiences.

This position is centred on content writing, caption development, campaign messaging, reel concepts, creative briefs, ecommerce copy, product visuals, and marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Produce engaging Arabic and English content for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, websites, WhatsApp campaigns, ecommerce platforms, and partner channels.
  • Develop captions, short promotional copy, campaign messaging, product write-ups, promotional text, and scripts for stories and reels.
  • Generate content concepts for fragrance products, scent machines, home fragrance, retail campaigns, B2B offers, and seasonal marketing activity.
  • Adapt messaging to suit GCC audience preferences, cultural context, language use, and purchase behaviour.
  • Ensure all written material is accurate, appealing, on-brand, and appropriate for the intended audience.

Creative Planning & Campaign Support

  • Support the preparation of monthly content calendars that align with campaigns, product launches, retail promotions, and seasonal occasions.
  • Draft creative briefs for designers, photographers, videographers, influencers, and agency partners.
  • Contribute to campaign ideas for Eid, Ramadan, summer, mall activations, new launches, kiosk promotions, ecommerce offers, and B2B initiatives.
  • Recommend fresh creative approaches based on social trends, customer insights, competitor activity, and business goals.
  • Tailor campaign assets for regional partners, agents, and different sales channels.

Social-First Content Production

  • Capture simple mobile-first content for reels, stories, TikTok, behind-the-scenes moments, product highlights, and event coverage.
  • Support the creation of reels, short-form videos, product demonstrations, scent experience content, and lifestyle visuals.
  • Work with designers and video editors to deliver polished social-first creatives.
  • Guide photo and video shoots when required.
  • Make sure all creative output is modern, visually appealing, and aligned with the Dr. Scent brand identity.

Brand Consistency

  • Keep all content and creative assets aligned with company brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual standards.
  • Review material before publication to reduce errors related to spelling, grammar, pricing, product information, or branding.
  • Maintain an organised content library containing captions, visual references, reel concepts, campaign ideas, and product messaging.

Requirements

  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in content creation, creative marketing, social media content, or digital marketing.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English, in written and spoken communication.
  • Strong Arabic copywriting ability tailored to GCC audiences.
  • Background in beauty, fragrance, fashion, retail, FMCG, ecommerce, or lifestyle sectors is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, reels, stories, and short-form video formats and trends.
  • Working knowledge of design and video-editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable software.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with an understanding of branding, layout, product presentation, and visual storytelling.
  • Comfortable creating mobile content and helping direct straightforward social shoots.
  • Well-organised, proactive, and able to juggle several content requests and deadlines.
  • A portfolio showing earlier content, captions, reels, design work, or campaign materials is mandatory.

Reporting Line

Reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with the Social Media & Community Executive, designers, videographers, ecommerce team, website team, influencers, sales team, and retail team.

This is an onsite full-time role based in Sharjah, Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role is designed for a candidate who can contribute across content, creative planning, and social-first production while coordinating with multiple internal teams and external partners.
