Position Overview
JET Charge is seeking a creative and well-organized Content and Social Media Assistant to bolster the company's digital marketing efforts. This part-time role is based at our Port Melbourne office and focuses on supporting content creation, scheduling, and publishing across social media, website, email, and internal platforms. You will ensure that content is engaging, accurate, and aligns with campaign goals, brand guidelines, and the company’s voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, draft, and publish content for social media, website, email campaigns, and internal communication channels.
- Write compelling social posts, blogs, email copy, and scripts for video content.
- Assist with the daily management and monitoring of JET Charge’s social media channels, including community engagement.
- Identify trending content ideas and analyze audience insights to inform content strategy.
- Produce and edit video materials for marketing campaigns and ongoing content.
- Adapt content to suit multiple channels, formats, and target audiences.
- Maintain the content calendar ensuring consistent publishing rhythms.
- Monitor and report on content and campaign performance metrics.
- Offer insights and suggestions to enhance future content and social media approaches.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in content creation, social media, marketing, or communications.
- Excellent writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and accurate content.
- Comfortable working across various digital channels including social media, email, and websites.
- Basic skills or a strong interest in video production and editing.
- Effective organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage publishing workflows.
- Pay close attention to brand standards, tone consistency, and campaign objectives.
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms, audience behavior, and content trends.
- Familiarity with marketing, scheduling, and analytics tools.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to contribute ideas to content planning.
