Role overview
The Content and Copywriting Lead will define the editorial standard for the brand and take ownership of the quality and consistency of content across organic social, newsletters, journals, and broader copy. This role requires a strong writer and sharp editor who can produce work directly while also elevating the output of others.
Working closely with the nutrition and science teams, the role ensures that every piece of content combines strong brand voice with scientific and nutritional credibility. The position reports to the Creative Director and manages the Senior Social Media Manager and Community Manager.
Key responsibilities
This role covers brand copy, editorial quality, organic social, community, CRM newsletters, campaign content, science-led collaboration, and team leadership.
Brand copy and editorial direction
- Create and refine copy across social posts, newsletters, campaigns, website pages, email, and wider brand communications.
- Own the editorial standard across all content touchpoints, ensuring the brand voice remains consistent and distinctive.
- Edit journal content and other materials created by the nutrition team so that technical accuracy and brand expression work together effectively.
- Apply strong sub-editing instincts to improve structure, flow, precision, and readability while preserving each writer’s voice.
Organic social and community
- Lead the organic social strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms, ensuring always-on content keeps the brand visible in wellness and culture.
- Shape and manage an employee-generated content approach that helps the team appear authentic and consistent across channels.
- Oversee community engagement with the Community Manager and customer team to keep responses aligned to tone of voice and to strengthen online community performance.
Newsletters and campaign CRM
- Own the newsletter strategy and delivery for the UK, Germany, Spain, and US markets, including editorial planning, writing, and quality control.
- Build newsletter structures that can flex by market while maintaining brand consistency.
- Work with international marketing teams to understand local needs and brief content accordingly.
- Plan and write campaign email content across markets in collaboration with Marketing, Nutrition, Science and Innovation, and CRM teams.
Science and nutrition collaboration
- Partner with Nutrition and Science & Innovation as strategic and creative contributors to shape content direction.
- Turn complex ingredient and nutrition information into original, credible, practical, and inspiring content.
- Brief and develop science-led content ideas that use in-house expertise as a brand strength beyond compliance.
- Establish a smooth working rhythm that makes expert collaboration a natural part of the content process.
Team leadership
- Manage the Senior Social Media Manager and Community Manager with clear direction, thoughtful review, and support for growth.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on content direction and with the wider creative team on campaign work.
- Work alongside the PR team to create content that connects earned and owned media channels.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio, advanced editing ability, experience leading organic social strategy, and confidence working across multi-market content operations. You should be comfortable moving between short-form and long-form writing, from social captions to detailed newsletters and science-led articles, while maintaining tone and clarity. The role also calls for curiosity about wellness, nutrition, and science, along with strong judgment around trends, brand fit, and content impact.
The company values a culture built on bravery, integrity, connection, and intention, and expects people to work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
