Overview

ACIL Allen, a distinguished independent advisor in economics, public policy, and strategy, invites applications for the positions of Consultants and Senior Consultants within its Sydney economics division. Candidates will be entrusted with client-related challenges, utilizing supportive tools and guidance to derive effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating methodologies and drafting proposals
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and information
  • Managing client engagements and ensuring successful project execution
  • Contributing to thought leadership within economics and public policy domains
  • Conducting research, preparing reports, and engaging with varied stakeholders

Consultants participate comprehensively in client assignments, from initial scoping and methodological development to delivering final reports and recommendations. Early career growth is fostered by applying expertise across complex, high-profile projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of three years' experience in economics or public policy within consulting, governmental, private, or advisory roles. Role level and remuneration will be tailored to expertise and competence
  • Degree in a quantitative or economics-centric field such as Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in additional analytical software considered advantageous
