Job overview

This role is for a trained security consultant with G4S in Tamil Nadu. The position focuses on protecting premises, property, people, and information across sites such as construction projects, courts, retail locations, warehouses, banks, and factories.

What the role involves

You will support site security through patrols on foot or by vehicle, access control, CCTV monitoring, surveillance activity, and rapid response to urgent situations. The job also includes helping deter and identify criminal activity while ensuring site safety and compliance.

Key duties

• Safeguard premises, assets, and confidential information.
• Submit daily reports to the supervisor in line with procedure.
• Follow all company policies and operating procedures at all times.
• Comply strictly with health, safety, and environmental instructions.
• Operate and watch security equipment and systems.
• Manage the movement of people, materials, and vehicles in and out of the site.
• Carry out foot patrols to identify unsafe conditions or hazards affecting property or individuals.
• Inspect external parking areas as needed to ensure vehicle security and detect unauthorized presence.
• Prepare written reports whenever required.

The position includes standard G4S uniform provision, on-the-job training, and ongoing skill development. Salary is paid on the 7th of every month. Other benefits include 27 annual leave days, an annual bonus of up to one month’s salary, gratuity after 5 years of service, accidental insurance coverage up to INR 3 lakhs, EPF contribution of 12% from both employer and employee, ESI health coverage for self and family, and pension eligibility after 10 years of continuous service with retirement age set at 58 years. Candidate profile

Applicants should have at least a 12th pass qualification and must be physically and medically fit. The role also expects a mature appearance and demeanor.
