Job description
About the role
Deloitte Canada is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant focused on sourcing and procurement within its Supply Chain & Network Operations consulting group. This permanent position is based in Toronto and follows a hybrid work model, with additional availability in Calgary and Vancouver. The role sits within a large and growing consulting practice that helps clients improve performance, strengthen competitiveness, and turn strategic plans into execution.
What you will do
In this role, you will draw on end-to-end sourcing and procurement experience to support transformation work and client projects. You may work across intake, sourcing, contract lifecycle management, procure-to-pay, invoicing, process assessment, and future-state improvement. The position also involves using strategy, analytics, and technology-led change to help clients reduce costs and improve performance.
You will contribute to consulting engagements that include preparing recommendations, presenting findings to senior leaders, creating roadmaps and project plans, and supporting implementation. In addition, you may participate in internal initiatives such as market research, proposals, recruitment, innovation labs, strategy work, AI collaborations, and mentoring/coaching activities.
About the team
The Supply Chain & Network Operations consulting practice works with clients across many industries to improve business outcomes, create value, and build competitive advantage. The team develops practical recommendations, communicates them to executive stakeholders, and helps carry them through implementation. The firm also offers a broad environment for professional growth, with mentoring, coaching, and exposure to different career paths.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred. The role calls for 2 to 4 years of combined consulting and/or industry experience in sourcing and procurement.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is valuable: spend management and analytics, sustainable strategic sourcing for direct and indirect spend, process and technology implementation, supplier relationship management, and value chain risk management. A solid understanding of the full source-to-pay cycle is important, including intake, sourcing, procurement, invoicing, process mapping, assessment, and future-state design.
Candidates should be able to produce high-quality deliverables, facilitate workshops, and present to senior stakeholders. Strong business judgment, analytical ability, adaptability under pressure, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also expected. Team collaboration is essential. Professional credentials such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP are considered an advantage.
Total rewards
The salary range for this role is $58,000 to $102,000 per year. Eligible employees may also participate in a bonus program. The total rewards package includes regular paid vacation, $4,000 annually for mental health support, a $1,300 flexible benefit spending account, firm-wide Deloitte Days, Development and Innovation Days for learning, flexible work options, and a hybrid work structure.
Purpose and culture
Deloitte describes its purpose as making an impact that matters by helping people, organizations, communities, and countries thrive. The organization emphasizes flexibility, wellbeing, inclusion, leadership development, and continuous growth. It also states that it encourages applications from qualified candidates across Canada, including people with disabilities, Indigenous candidates, and Black candidates.
Accommodation and inclusion
If you need an accommodation during recruitment, the organization asks that you reach out for support with alternate formats, accessible meeting rooms, or other arrangements. There is also a dedicated contact for questions related to Indigenous careers. Applications are reviewed using Deloitte’s Global Talent Standards, with human screening supported by AI tools used responsibly and with privacy safeguards.
