Role overview
A leading consultancy is looking to add a Consultant to its strategy and operations team focused on manufacturing in London. This position is a strong fit for professionals who have worked in manufacturing, production, or plant-based operations and want to move into top-tier strategy consulting while still drawing on practical, on-the-ground operational knowledge.
What you will work on
- Helping deliver improvement initiatives at manufacturing sites, with emphasis on production, quality, and overall operational results.
- Supporting projects around network strategy, operating model development, and wider transformation programmes.
- Analysing and improving capacity, cost, efficiency, and end-to-end process performance.
- Taking ownership of workstreams and working directly with client teams and stakeholders.
Candidate profile
- The role is aimed at people with 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or consulting work connected to these areas.
- Experience in sectors such as FMCG, aerospace, industrials, chemicals, or energy would be an advantage.
- Hands-on exposure to manufacturing settings, including production, maintenance, or process engineering, is important.
