Role Overview

The position of Construction Worker at RCS Membrane is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. The construction worker will contribute to daily tasks such as site preparation, material handling, installation, and cleanup. Duties include assisting with Radon Poly foundation waterproofing and providing support to site supervisors. The role requires the use of hand and power tools, adherence to construction plans and instructions, and ensuring safe, compliant work practices. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors across various weather conditions, requiring teamwork to achieve project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Hands-on experience or training in construction and renovation, capable of handling general building and repair work.
  • Proficiency with Radon Poly applications and foundation waterproofing techniques.
  • Capability to research materials, tools, and methods to promote effective and safe working procedures.
  • Comfortable operating hand and power tools, interpreting simple plans, and following safety protocols.
  • Physical stamina to lift materials, stand for prolonged periods, and work in different environmental conditions.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn and follow guidance.
  • Prior construction or relevant trade experience is advantageous; certifications related to safety or equipment operation are a plus.
