Job description
Overview
This role involves on-site painting work at various locations, including outdoor and underground environments, often at heights with exposure to odours. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
- Repair cracks and holes to ensure a smooth finish.
- Mix paints to achieve the required color and texture.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabrics to walls.
- Advise clients on color selection and wall covering options.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
Requirements
- At least 2 but less than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Possession of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Must be bondable to ensure security and safety standards.
- Own transportation is necessary for travel to varied work sites.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Capability to work in environments such as outdoors, underground, and at heights, sometimes with odours.
