Primary duties

• Move construction materials by loading, unloading, and transporting them around the site.
• Set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Prepare and place materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Support drilling and blasting activities on construction projects.
• Bring earthworks to the required grade level.
• Help with building demolition.
• Handle clean-up after chemical spills and other site contaminants.
• Clear rubble and construction debris from the work area.
• Operate or supply construction machinery and equipment.
• Control traffic near or within construction zones.
