- Use practical knowledge of technical and department equipment, including AV systems, and train team members in their use.
- Ensure all meeting, conference, and dinner charges are correctly applied before guests leave.
- Work with Sales and Food & Beverage teams to ensure weddings, conferences, and events are delivered according to specification.

- Follow up with guests after events to assess satisfaction and identify ways to improve the guest experience.
- Ensure all department staff maintain excellent standards of hygiene, dress, grooming, conduct, and professionalism.
- Introduce and support improvements in guest service, production methods, and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with clients, handle queries promptly, and remain present for major functions and weddings.
- Stay familiar with pricing structure, peak and off-peak opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Represent the hotel during event delivery, welcome clients, and hand over smoothly to the operations team for execution.
- Attend weekly HOD meetings where possible, or ensure you receive the relevant brief if unable to attend.
- Maintain close working relationships with other departments to support efficient event delivery.
- Act as manager on duty when assigned by the deputy general manager.
