Computational Biologist

About the Role

This contract opportunity is for a biology-focused expert who will support AI research work by reviewing scientific output and helping strengthen research quality. The organization works with top-tier AI labs and brings together technical and creative specialists to improve model performance.

The position is fully remote and is suited to someone with deep training in biology or a closely related scientific field, along with hands-on research experience and strong scientific judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the technical soundness and scientific logic of work across biology, chemistry, and translational research areas.
• Review outputs produced in discovery and applied science pipelines.
• Give clear, structured feedback aimed at improving scientific accuracy and overall research quality.
• Work alongside other domain specialists to keep datasets aligned, relevant, and consistent.
• Operate independently in an asynchronous workflow and deliver work to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level training in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, Translational Science, or a closely related discipline.
• A demonstrated publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in biotech, pharma, or another research and development environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate scientific ideas clearly.

Preferred Profile

• 4 or more years of relevant industry experience.
• Candidates located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Europe are preferred.
