Job description

About the role

This opportunity is for quantitative professionals who want to help improve AI models. In this position, you will collaborate with advanced AI systems on tasks such as checking AI-produced quantitative analyses, working through technical challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how these models handle data, mathematical reasoning, and scientific problem-solving.

The role is well suited to people with backgrounds in fields such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, or other quantitative disciplines. If you are comfortable reasoning carefully about data and models, your experience can be a strong fit. Some contributors use this work alongside another full-time job, while others focus on it as their main work.

To begin, you will create an account and complete a short assessment that functions as the selection process. Candidates who pass will receive confirmation by email, and paid tasks will then be available on the platform.

What contracting offers

  • You can decide which projects to take on and when to work on them.
  • The work is done on your own computer, on a schedule that fits you, from home.
  • Hourly pay starts at USD 50 to USD 100+, and some projects may include bonus rates.

Responsibilities

  • Review AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-backed conclusions.
  • Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems across forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Produce concise technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
  • Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI tools for quantitative reasoning.

Qualifications

  • You should have at least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
  • Basic coding ability is required, including comfort with writing and reviewing analytical code from start to finish.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experimental design is expected, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
  • You must be fluent in English at a native or bilingual level and have strong written communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred; a master’s degree or PhD is an added advantage.
  • Additional credentials such as Kaggle rankings, AWS/GCP ML certifications, or equivalent proof of expertise are beneficial.

Payment and engagement details

Payment is processed through PayPal. No payment is required from applicants at any stage, and currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal. This is an independent contractor role.
