Role overview
We are seeking a meticulous and principled Compliance Officer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role is focused on helping the organization stay aligned with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards while reinforcing a workplace culture built on ethics, accountability, and strong governance.
You will contribute to compliance monitoring, risk evaluation, policy creation, and regulatory reporting. The position also involves partnering with multiple internal teams to identify compliance risks and strengthen controls across the business.
Core responsibilities
- Track adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Carry out compliance checks, risk reviews, and internal audit activities.
- Create, update, and maintain compliance procedures and policy documents.
- Look into compliance concerns and suggest practical corrective measures.
- Draft compliance reports and keep records accurate and well organized.
- Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting obligations.
- Conduct compliance awareness sessions and support training across teams.
- Work closely with legal, HR, finance, and operations teams to reduce compliance exposure.
- Keep up with regulatory updates and recommend necessary policy revisions.
- Help improve corporate governance and internal control systems.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, audit, or corporate governance.
- Professional credentials such as ICA, CAMS, CRCM, CCEP, CIA, or ISO 37301 are highly valued.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance, internal controls, AML, KYC, or enterprise risk management is considered an advantage.
