Job description

About the Organization

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a global humanitarian organization that responds to severe crises by supporting people affected by conflict and disaster. Since its founding in 1933 at Albert Einstein’s request, the IRC has delivered health, safety, education, economic recovery, and community support in more than 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities. Its work focuses on helping people regain stability, dignity, and control over their futures.

In Kenya, the IRC operates across the Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps and in Garissa, Turkana, Lamu, and Nairobi counties, delivering programs in health, nutrition, governance and rights, women’s protection and empowerment, economic recovery and development, and emergency response through field offices and local partnerships.
