About the role
This 12-month fixed-term opportunity sits within the Strategy, Brand and Marketing team. The successful candidate will help strengthen the control environment around external communications, reputation management, and operational risk, while working closely with marketing, wealth, capital markets, risk, and compliance colleagues.
External communications
- Take ownership of the systems and processes that ensure marketing communications are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations, including MiFID II, the CBI Consumer Protection Code 2025, and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across marketing, wealth, and capital markets, while maintaining close collaboration with risk and compliance teams.
- Report to the Head of Marketing Communications in the Strategy, Brand and Marketing team and work across functions as needed.
- Maintain procedure documents covering the external communications process.
- Perform assurance activity over the process.
Reputation and strategy
- Review the reputation policy and related procedures, and ensure they are communicated across Davy.
- Manage reputation MI in partnership with SBM.
- Carry out a thorough review of strategy- and reputation-related risks and confirm that existing policies fully cover them.
- Update policies and procedures where required.
- Refine the processes, procedures, and controls that put the organisation’s strategy and reputation risk policies into practice.
1LOD responsibilities
- Design and deliver an assurance programme to test existing controls and recommend improvements, including additional controls where needed.
- Record, review, and investigate operational incidents, errors, and near misses, and adjust controls to reduce the chance of recurrence.
- Prepare regular risk and control reporting for management.
