Job description
Role Overview
A prominent client is seeking a Company Secretary with a minimum of three years’ experience, preferably part or fully ICSA qualified. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days in the office in Dublin and two days remote. The role emphasizes advisory responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives on client interaction and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate alongside senior solicitors to provide statutory and compliance advice to multinational clients.
- Explain detailed regulatory requirements and partner with clients to develop practical compliance strategies.
- Offer intellectual and advisory support to international firms establishing operations in Ireland.
- Oversee entity governance by preparing board meeting agendas and distributing board packs.
- Organize and participate in Board and shareholder meetings, including AGMs as necessary.
- Draft minutes and track action items arising from Board or Committee meetings.
- Foster strong relationships with the senior management teams of client organizations.
- Support corporate entity formation and liquidation processes.
- Ensure periodic review and updates of Board and Committee Terms of Reference.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least three years’ experience in a Company Secretarial role is mandatory.
- Experience within a professional services environment is highly advantageous.
- Part or fully qualified with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).
- Proficient in minute-taking with exceptional attention to detail and proofreading capabilities.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure with adaptability to varying deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage workloads independently.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for building relationships across various stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of €65,000.
- Comprehensive benefits package including a potential bonus, 25 days annual holiday, pension scheme, private healthcare, travel tax incentives, on-site canteen, gym access, and regular performance reviews.
- Total remuneration package valued at up to €77,000.
