Role overview
An Irish law firm with a growing Dublin office is seeking a Company Secretary to join on a 12-month contract. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys providing high-quality advice, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to business growth.
Compensation and benefits
The salary for this position can reach up to €65,000, with a total package valued at up to €70,000. The benefits on offer include a bonus, healthcare cover, pension contribution, annual reviews, 25 days of holiday, and hybrid working.
Key duties
- Prepare the paperwork required to form new companies.
- Complete documents related to company name changes, business name registrations, re-registrations, and other post-incorporation compliance work.
- Make sure filings to the Companies Registration Office are submitted accurately and within deadline.
- Keep statutory registers, records, and databases up to date and well managed.
- Support filings for the Central Register of Beneficial Ownership.
- Check documents for proper execution requirements and coordinate notarisation and apostillisation where needed.
- Work with both internal stakeholders and external clients as required.
- Handle client correspondence, including follow-up communication by email.
- Help ensure all documentation remains compliant.
Candidate profile
- The ideal applicant is CGI-qualified or currently progressing toward CGI certification.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable company secretarial position is required.
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2014 is important.
- Experience using Diligent, or another similar company secretarial platform, is expected.
- Strong organisational skills are essential.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to both tasks and teamwork is needed.
