Role overview
The business is looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join its growing corporate services function. This is a newly created central position designed to support busy offices across the national network.
Key duties
- Prepare and submit company secretarial documents, with particular focus on CRO annual returns.
- Coordinate company incorporations and voluntary strike-off filings.
- Handle routine company secretarial tasks such as board changes, registered office updates, share transfers, and similar matters.
- Support clients with compliance obligations under the Companies Act 2014.
- Keep client statutory registers accurate and up to date using Relate Company Secretary.
- Work with the CRO, Companies House, and other relevant organisations as needed.
- Assist with RBO compliance, including drafting board meeting and general meeting minutes/resolutions and preparing CRO forms.
- Provide wider support to senior colleagues and internal teams on company secretarial matters.
Requirements
- Solid experience in compliance and/or corporate services, ideally gained in a professional services setting.
- A clear interest in building a long-term career and progressing professionally.
- Motivation to pursue qualification with the Chartered Governance Institute.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
