Role Overview
We seek a dedicated individual to join our afterhours operations team in Canberra, working full time overnight shifts. This role focuses on ensuring the safety and security of residents and overseeing building management during night hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety and security perimeter checks, addressing issues and emergencies during shifts.
- Perform administrative duties such as record keeping, payment processing, audits, and reporting.
- Manage incidents effectively including resolving complaints and conflicts overnight.
- Serve as a supportive and approachable contact for residents, assisting with information and welfare needs.
- Respond to resident calls regarding noise disturbances or lockouts promptly.
- Participate in mandatory staff training sessions and meetings as required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Recent National Police Check (within the last 3 months).
- Working with Vulnerable People Check clearance.
- Valid authorization to work in Australia.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Commitment to a 38-hour roster working evenings and overnights Monday through Sunday, including public holidays.
