Role Summary

This is a full-time remote position for a Community Specialist. The person in this role will help create and sustain an engaged, supportive user community across online channels. The role centers on interacting with users, encouraging meaningful discussion about the platform’s features and value, and ensuring the community remains constructive and inclusive.

Key Responsibilities

The Community Specialist will moderate conversations, reply to user questions, collect feedback, and route issues to the right internal teams when needed. The role also includes planning and running virtual community activities, drafting and maintaining community rules, and working closely with product, marketing, and support teams to improve the user experience. In addition, the specialist will monitor engagement data, spot trends within the community, and share observations that can inform community planning and product improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should bring strong people skills and customer service instincts so they can build trust and respond with a helpful, solution-focused approach. Experience in community engagement and community management is important for growing and sustaining active online spaces. Excellent written and spoken communication in en_US is needed to work effectively with a diverse audience and internal teams. Prior exposure to digital communities, social platforms, or online forums is preferred, especially in technology, AI, or data-focused products. The role suits someone who can work independently in a remote, fast-moving setting, handle several conversations at once, and stay organized while prioritizing tasks. Familiarity with community tools, CRM platforms, or analytics dashboards is useful for tracking engagement and user satisfaction. A strong commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory communication is expected. Education or professional experience in communications, social sciences, psychology, marketing, or a related area is an added advantage.
