Job description

About the role

This position sits within a global blockchain company that operates one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges by trading volume and registered users. The business serves over 300 million people across more than 100 countries and focuses on security, transparency of user funds, fast trading infrastructure, deep liquidity, and a wide range of digital asset products. Its ecosystem spans trading, finance, education, research, payments, institutional solutions, Web3 products, and more, with the goal of expanding financial access and supporting greater freedom of money worldwide.

What you will do

  • Build, train, and coordinate the Binance Angels volunteer community initiative.
  • Plan and run community events, both online and in person, including meetups, webinars, workshops, and learning sessions that strengthen engagement and brand visibility.
  • Oversee moderation in regional Telegram and Discord communities, while also using bots, mini-games, and campaign activations to keep participation high.
  • Develop partnerships with crypto communities, student associations, and universities to broaden awareness of Binance Academy.
  • Write, translate, and review community-facing content in English and relevant local languages to keep messaging locally relevant.
  • Identify and test additional community platforms that can help grow the local audience and improve brand reach.
  • Support brand promotion, product awareness, and campaign communication while delivering responsive community assistance.
  • Convert community interest into active users, and active users into advocates through owned community channels.
  • Gather market insights, user feedback, and community sentiment, then share it with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams.

What we are looking for

  • About 2 to 4 years of experience in community management, event coordination, or a closely related function.
  • Strong interest in crypto and Binance, with hands-on use of products such as Spot, Margin, Futures, P2P, and Earn, plus familiarity with concepts like DeFi, Web3, and NFTs.
  • Experience creating content for platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
  • Demonstrated success in community or event work, with a strong sense of ownership and emotional intelligence.
  • Working knowledge of Telegram moderation tools, bots, and engagement campaigns.
  • Analytical approach with comfort using data, dashboards, and ROI tracking.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills for handling sensitive or difficult discussions professionally.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, since crypto communities are active around the clock.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of the West African social media environment and how local communities behave online.

Why this opportunity stands out

  • Contribute to a leading global blockchain ecosystem.
  • Work with highly skilled teams in a user-focused organization with a flat structure.
  • Take on fast-moving, high-autonomy projects in an innovative setting.
  • Enjoy a performance-driven workplace with room for growth and ongoing learning.
  • Receive a competitive salary and company benefits.
  • Work-from-home support is available, though the setup may differ depending on the team’s work requirements.
