Role Overview
This position is for an energetic Community Engagement Specialist who can plan and run initiatives that strengthen relationships within the community. The role involves managing day-to-day interactions, coordinating engagement activities, collecting insights from the community, and partnering with different internal teams to improve the community experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and carry out community engagement plans across digital and in-person channels.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, users, partners, ambassadors, and community participants.
- Oversee community spaces, social groups, forums, and other communication touchpoints.
- Produce content, campaigns, conversation prompts, and programs that encourage participation.
- Plan and support webinars, workshops, networking sessions, and other community events.
- Handle questions, comments, and feedback from the community with speed and professionalism.
- Track sentiment, engagement performance, and new trends within the community.
- Collect user and community feedback and turn it into actionable recommendations for products, services, and engagement methods.
- Work with marketing, customer support, product, and communications teams on shared community efforts.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and updates that show community growth and engagement results.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has around 1 to 4+ years of relevant experience in community management, customer engagement, communications, marketing, or a related area. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Sciences, or a similar discipline is preferred.
Strong written and spoken communication, relationship-building ability, and comfort working with online community platforms are important. The role also calls for good organization, event coordination skills, creativity in campaign planning, and an analytical approach to engagement data and user feedback. A self-driven, team-oriented, and customer-first mindset is expected.
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience managing communities on platforms such as Discord, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram, or similar tools is an advantage. Familiarity with community management software, social scheduling tools, analytics, and CRM systems will be helpful.
Background in technology, SaaS, gaming, education, e-commerce, nonprofit, or consumer-focused sectors is beneficial. Experience with customer advocacy, brand engagement, or influencer collaboration programs is also valued, and multilingual communication is a plus.
