Overview

The Community Engagement Manager at Moncler's Fifth Avenue flagship in New York is dedicated to discovering and nurturing relationships with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals to drive client acquisition and brand growth through strategic networking and community partnerships.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with UHNW and HNW clients, developing tailored strategies to attract both local and international customers to the flagship store.
  • Collaborate closely with store leadership and client advisors to convert prospects into loyal clients while establishing a strong network of influential entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and business figures.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships with exclusive corporations, luxury hotels, private clubs, concierge services, and cultural institutions, designing unique client experiences and activations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by engaging with key social, cultural, fashion, art, philanthropic, and luxury events to expand Moncler's presence in influential circles.
  • Organize and support intimate events and private shopping experiences in coordination with Client Relations and Brand teams to maximize client engagement and sales.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of client acquisition efforts, partnership effectiveness, and sales impact reporting regularly to store leadership.
  • Exhibit professionalism and lead by example, fostering a collaborative culture aligned with Moncler's values and corporate standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of five years of demonstrated success in luxury retail, business development, client acquisition, partnerships, hospitality, wealth management, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with HNW and UHNW clients along with experience generating business through networking and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of New York’s luxury, cultural, and business environments is favorable.
  • Excellent networking, communication, influencing, and presentation skills, complemented by strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel, to create compelling presentations and reports.
  • Tech-savvy, capable of utilizing CRM systems, clienteling tools, and digital platforms to enhance client engagement and business growth.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, mainly within New York, with occasional domestic travel.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $135,000, determined by qualifications and experience. Additional compensation includes quarterly bonuses and an extensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, vision insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, paid parental leave, seven paid holidays, up to 80 hours of vacation, four personal days, two community service days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contributions.

Additional Details

Final candidates will undergo a background check as per relevant laws. The interview process consists of meetings with the VP of People & Organization, Senior Store Director of 5th Avenue, VP of Retail, and the President of Moncler Group Americas.
