Job description
Overview
This role supports community engagement and corporate events through practical coordination, relationship management, and on-site event support. Working with the Social Impact team, the specialist helps create meaningful experiences for employees, customers, and community partners while making sure events run smoothly from planning through follow-up.
What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day planning and execution of community engagement and corporate event programs.
- Coordinate event logistics such as invitations, Benevity sign-up pages, catering, communication, event setup needs, and on-site assistance.
- Create and maintain timelines, agendas/run-of-shows, and post-event debrief notes to improve future events.
- Track schedules, deadlines, and project progress, and share status updates with the team.
- Act as a contact point for nonprofits, community partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Help review and onboard new community partners, including collecting required documentation.
- Organize volunteer opportunities for employees, including registration, messaging, and follow-up.
- Support exclusive community experiences for high-value customers such as VICs and Loyalty Icons.
- Collect participant feedback and help compile engagement metrics.
- Track budgets, handle invoice processing, and submit expense reports related to events and community programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal audiences and leadership.
- Work with Store, PR, Social Impact, Marketing, Internal Communications, and Logistics/Facilities teams to align messaging and delivery.
- Use Benevity data to evaluate program performance and identify ways to improve.
- Share regular updates and post-event summaries with leadership.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in community engagement, corporate event coordination, event management, or a similar area.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver events of different sizes and complexity levels.
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills with careful attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work well with varied teams and stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, venues, and community organizations.
- Genuine interest in community impact, social good, and creating memorable experiences.
- Comfort using event and project management tools, plus Microsoft Office Suite.
- Retail or fashion experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Additional Information
This position is based in Seattle, Washington and follows a hybrid work arrangement. The stated annual pay range for Washington is $69,000 to $110,500, depending on location, relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. The role may also qualify for performance-based incentives or bonuses.
