The Role

The Ned Doha is searching for a dedicated Commis 1 Chef to join the kitchen team at Cecconi's, an Italian restaurant known for its blend of traditional and modern Italian cuisine. This role offers a chance to enhance culinary expertise while preparing authentic Italian dishes with high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and cook traditional Italian dishes, maintaining excellent quality and presentation standards.
• Assist the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, pasta, and menu items following established recipes.
• Keep your workspace clean and organized throughout shifts.
• Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Collaborate with senior chefs to develop your skills and culinary knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience as a Commis Chef, ideally in Italian or fine dining settings.
• Good understanding of Italian culinary ingredients and cooking methods.
• Strong passion for food with attention to detail and quality.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growth within a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Positive mindset, teamwork orientation, and proactive working style.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP.
