Role Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal in Boston, MA to assist our Commercial Title team. This role involves detailed administrative support in closing commercial real estate deals, including creating and managing title files and comprehensive documentation. The position demands coordination to ensure timely escrows and title recordings in transactions scaling up to high-liability multi-site properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the closing process for commercial property transactions.
- Examine and verify commercial real estate closing documentation.
- Conduct thorough searches and review legal property descriptions; prepare title commitments and proformas.
- Assess property surveys and support underwriters in closing procedures.
- Compile and calculate pricing details relevant to closures.
- Manage recording information and prepare title insurance documents such as endorsements and policies.
- Engage in additional projects as required.
Candidate Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, service-oriented attitude toward clients and colleagues.
- Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Problem-solving aptitude with well-organized work habits and enthusiasm for learning.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the adaptability to learn proprietary software like Clarity First and FAST platforms.
- Educational background with a Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification preferred.
- Preferably 2+ years in commercial title-related roles; experience in law firms or title industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation
The hourly pay range is approximately $38.77 to $51.67, determined by experience, skills, and geographic factors.
