Commercial Cleaner

About the Role

ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie is seeking dedicated individuals to join their night cleaning team based at 8 - 740 Huronia Road, Barrie, ON. The full-time positions involve working generally in pairs starting shifts between 4:45 pm and 5 pm, with shifts lasting approximately 6 to 9 hours overnight. A valid driver's license with a clean record is a notable advantage.

Key Duties

• Sweeping, mopping, and washing floors.
• Dusting desks, telephones, and other surfaces.
• Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom areas.
• Collecting debris, and emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Handling customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Ensure punctual attendance for all assigned shifts.
• Comply with established health and safety regulations.
• Uphold a professional appearance at all times.
• Follow the ServiceMaster Clean quality and procedural standards.
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork.
• Report any workplace hazards immediately.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Record time entries correctly and inform the office of discrepancies.
• Execute cleaning services as scheduled in office, warehouse, and field locations without supervision.
• Work cooperatively with assigned helpers when applicable.
• Remain on company premises during clocked hours.
• Keep janitorial closets organized and fully stocked at customer sites.
• Participate in all required training sessions.
