Role overview

The Commercial Data Analytics Senior Officer is tasked with turning complex datasets into practical business intelligence. Core responsibilities

• Contribute to demand-led pricing approaches and campaign planning by analyzing sales patterns and performance signals.
• Assess retail results by reviewing product sell-through, stock movement, and margin performance.
• Perform market basket analysis to uncover buying behavior and improve product placement decisions.
• Measure how promotions and seasonal merchandising changes affect retail performance.
• Study guest demographic and behavioral data to identify audience segments and spot opportunities for growth.
• Assist marketing teams by monitoring conversion rates and return on investment across sales channels and campaigns.
• Build and update automated dashboards that give department leaders quick, clear performance visibility.
• Unify data gathering practices across systems such as POS, ticketing, and CRM platforms.

Technical qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker Studio.
• Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• At least 7 years of experience in commercial, retail, or hospitality analytics.
• Ability to present technical analysis in a straightforward way for teams without a data background.
