Commercial Account Manager (f/m)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our expanding team, managing top-tier global clients. This role entails enhancing service delivery, safeguarding and growing business, and securing new opportunities in Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding. Positions are available in Łódź, Poland or Limerick, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an integral member of the account team focusing on operational activities to fulfill service commitments for a major global tech client.
• Establish and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as the primary contact point for new projects, issues, commercial discussions, and change management.
• Coordinate collaboration across internal departments including operations, engineering, and IT to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Continuously assess client needs against existing services to identify upselling and cross-selling possibilities.
• Prepare and manage KPI and scorecard data to support business reviews such as Monthly, Quarterly, and Executive Board Reviews, and follow up on necessary actions.
• Ensure consistent and standardized processes across 12 sites serving this client, leveraging best practices.
• Drive annual revenue and profitability targets by leading new opportunities and contract renewals, handling service change requests, and resolving commercial matters for both logistics and freight forwarding services.
• Support scope expansions and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, across multiple sites.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preference for business or engineering disciplines.
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in contract logistics and freight forwarding; additional logistics areas (road transport, manufacturing support) are advantageous.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with detailed precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills; Lean or Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.
• Customer-oriented with solid business insight.
• Experience working with technology sector clients is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Fluent proficiency in English; knowledge of Polish is a plus.
