Role Overview

The ComfyUI Generalist role requires full-time, on-site presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Responsibilities encompass designing, constructing, and maintaining ComfyUI workflows and nodes for in-house and client projects. Daily activities include configuring pipelines, running tests and optimizations, troubleshooting, and documenting processes and best practices. The role involves working closely with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to interpret requirements into effective ComfyUI configurations, ensuring robustness, efficiency, and usability. The position also requires staying updated with community developments, integrating new features or AI models, and contributing to internal knowledge sharing and training.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven knowledge of ComfyUI concepts such as node-based workflows, pipeline architecture, and configuration, capable of building and altering intricate node graphs.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies like image or video generation, and familiarity with deploying or integrating AI models into applied workflows.
• Proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages to customize nodes, automate operations, and link with external APIs or tools.
• Ability to clearly document workflow structures, craft instructional guides, and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a structured approach to testing and debugging workflows.
• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams in an on-site setting, demonstrating effective time management and ownership of tasks.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Design Technology, or related disciplines is advantageous.
• Previous experience in creative or visual production pipelines, plus familiarity with version control and project management tools, is a plus.
