Role Overview

This full-time, on-location position is based in Dubai, where the Color Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the formulation, modification, and matching of colors across various paint product lines. The specialist ensures the color consistency adheres to customer specifications and internal quality benchmarks.

Key daily activities include reviewing color samples, partnering with production teams to calibrate and sustain accurate color representation, and keeping detailed records of formulas and batch tests. The role also requires close coordination with sales and customer service departments to handle client inquiries related to color, resolve color discrepancies, and provide expert advice on appropriate product and shade selections.

The Color Specialist is expected to uphold workplace safety, follow laboratory and production procedures, and participate actively in enhancing process efficiencies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Solid understanding of Color Theory and hands-on experience with Color Matching on various materials and lighting scenarios.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to professionally manage color-related client interactions.
• Practical experience in hair coloring or similar applied color work demonstrating accuracy and sensitivity to shades and tones.
• Experience in paint, coatings, or chemical production environments is highly preferred.
• Capability to work onsite in Dubai, collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical abilities, and familiarity with standard laboratory or production tools for color assessment.
• Possession of a diploma or degree in chemistry, materials science, cosmetology, design, or related fields is advantageous.
