Role Overview
This is a full-time remote position for a Director of College Admissions / Senior College Admissions Counselor. The position focuses on advising students in grades 8 through 10 on academic planning, study habits, course selection, extracurricular choices, admissions strategy, motivation, test preparation, and general application-related questions.
For students in grades 11 and 12, the scope expands to include application planning, personal branding and positioning, college list development, outreach and communication support with admissions officers, essay guidance, interview coaching, and end-to-end application management.
Qualifications
- Degree from a top 50 university in the United States.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Previous admissions experience is preferred, with especially strong interest in candidates who have experience at the University of California, the University of Washington, or Ivy League / top 20 institutions.
- Background in college counseling or certification, with experience helping students gain admission to top 20 colleges in the country.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Biology/Health Care, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Highly organized with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Exposure to college admissions or higher education is an added advantage.
