Job Description

Experian Singapore is seeking a driven and accountable Collections Officer to join the Credit Services team. This role is pivotal in managing all collection activities through effective negotiation and other appropriate methods, ensuring consistently high performance standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving corporate activities to meet collection targets, maintaining strong relationships, and demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct collection management activities via telephone, email, and potentially house visits.
  • Meet daily productivity targets for call attempts, customer contacts, and payment promises.
  • Employ negotiation strategies to successfully recover outstanding debts.
  • Analyze and evaluate challenging cases to recommend and implement suitable actions.
  • Promptly update the collection system with all undertaken collection activities.
  • Generate and send out customer reminders.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • A strong drive to achieve collection management targets.
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver excellent results.
  • Skill in building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships.
  • Effective English communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Experience in collections, accounts receivables, contact centers, or customer service is beneficial.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
