Collection Team Leader

Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Collection Team Leader to oversee and guide a team of collection executives, driving recovery targets while maintaining strong customer relations within the collections department based in Tirupati.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a telecalling collection team effectively.
• Assign daily collection targets and track overall team performance consistently.
• Ensure timely follow-ups to secure payments from customers.
• Manage customer escalations and resolve issues related to collections promptly.
• Generate and maintain detailed MIS and performance reports on collections.
• Provide training, mentorship, and motivation to team members to enhance productivity.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and collection protocols.
• Collaborate with various internal departments to facilitate smooth collection processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in collections, preferably in NBFC or banking sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience serving as a team leader or senior collections officer.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Basic proficiency with MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within FinTech or digital lending environments.
• Familiarity with collections involving early bucket, late bucket, and recovery stages.
• Candidates able to join immediately will be given preference.
