About the Role
GRJ Trades and Finance Limited is seeking a committed and result-driven Collection Officer to operate from Connaught Place, New Delhi. This full-time position is within the collections department of our NBFC/FinTech organization specializing in short-term loans. The incumbent will manage overdue accounts by contacting customers and ensuring timely repayments while maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact customers via phone to remind them about upcoming, due, and overdue loan payments.
- Engage with delinquent customers to recover overdue amounts promptly, negotiating repayment schedules within company guidelines.
- Clarify payment options, late fee policies, and loan terms to customers, resolving queries effectively.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and commitments in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related complications.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets while escalating non-responsive or high-risk accounts appropriately.
- Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in collection activities.
- Prepare and submit daily collection reports and management information systems (MIS) reports for leadership review.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all customer information handled.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion capabilities with professionalism in handling difficult conversations.
- Strong listening, problem-solving, and follow-up skills paired with effective time management.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications including MS Excel and CRM software.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet collection objectives.
- Preferred candidates will have 6 months to 2 years of experience in collections, customer service, telecalling, banking, NBFC, FinTech, or digital lending platforms.
Education and Eligibility
Graduation in any discipline is preferred; however, freshers demonstrating excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Salary Details
The monthly remuneration ranges between INR 18,000 and INR 30,000.
