About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing client’s team. The position involves crafting CNC machining programs applicable for aerospace components requiring multi-axis machining.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop CNC programs utilizing NX CAM, CATIA, Delcam, or Powermill software.
- Design and prepare toolpaths suitable for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining operations targeting aerospace parts.
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, GD&T standards, and machining specifications accurately.
- Choose appropriate cutting tools and parameters, optimizing machining methodologies to enhance efficiency and precision.
- Perform simulations, verify program correctness, and execute prove-outs for CNC code reliability.
- Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and production departments to support continuous process enhancements.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or Manufacturing Engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrated solid experience in CAM programming and CNC machining processes.
- Preferably have background in aerospace sector or precision components machining.
