Job Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer specializing in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) with expertise in Documentum deployment on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role involves building and maintaining cloud-native applications, creating continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and ensuring robust cloud infrastructure and security compliance tailored for the oil and gas domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage Documentum applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Lead Documentum version upgrades within cloud environments while ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional agile teams to verify requirements and align cloud solutions with business objectives.
  • Drive architecture decisions, implement design patterns, and enforce engineering best practices.
  • Monitor deployed applications via tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, and Azure Log Analytics.
  • Apply security best practices, maintaining compliance with domain-specific regulations, particularly in oil and gas.
  • Perform technology evaluations and trade-off analyses to optimize architecture and design choices.
  • Share knowledge, keep abreast of industry trends, and contribute to team skill enhancement.

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Hands-on experience deploying Documentum solutions on AKS.
  • Strong proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • In-depth understanding of Documentum core modules and cloud upgrade processes.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and especially Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Solid background in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Practical experience with microservices architecture and automation tools like Ansible.
  • Familiarity with architecture styles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging applications using AppDynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, and Azure Log Analytics.
  • Knowledge of security standards relevant to cloud deployments in regulated industries.
  • Certification like Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of agile project methodology involvement.

  • Minimum of seven years in relevant roles involving cloud engineering and ECM.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to function effectively across different time zones and teams.

  • Understanding of business processes including Concurrent Engineering and Management of Change.

Eligibility and Education
