Role overview

The Beauty Advisor role is centered on increasing sales while creating a welcoming and memorable customer experience. Key duties

• Take full ownership of assigned work, act with accountability, and show initiative in meeting store goals and key performance measures for both the individual and the store.
• Strengthen store engagement by building authentic relationships with customers, teammates, vendors, and the surrounding community.
• Grow customer loyalty through attentive service, personalized consultations, use of clienteling tools, and targeted product recommendations.
• Support promotions, special events, and customer outreach efforts that improve store performance and increase sales.
• Use selling systems and digital devices to give shoppers a smooth omnichannel experience, including clear guidance on inventory, assortment, and product details.
• Keep expanding product expertise, selling techniques, artistry skills, and awareness of current beauty trends by using training materials, brand resources, and feedback.
• Encourage returning visits by serving as a trusted source of beauty knowledge and product advice.
• Keep merchandise stocked and replenished on time, and uphold visual display, signage, and beauty hygiene standards according to company and vendor requirements.
• Help foster a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, connecting with coworkers, and recognizing both individual and team wins.
• Remain adaptable to changing priorities and support sales and store operations with additional tasks as needed.
• Assist with fulfillment and asset protection work in assigned areas by completing omni and operational processes accurately, maintaining product security, and following safety rules.

Requirements

• Must be available for a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Should be able to move throughout the store frequently and remain accessible to customers.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and lift, carry, or move up to 40 lbs.
• Should be comfortable using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and Windows-based systems.
• Must be capable of working independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Need to maintain any required professional licenses and certifications, including state-specific demonstrator or cosmetology credentials where required by local or state regulatory boards.
