Role overview
Oncoustics is hiring for an 8-month clinical/data operations co-op within its Toronto research and development team. This is a full-time opportunity designed to provide practical exposure to clinical trial coordination, regulatory alignment, and the development of advanced healthcare technology.
The role is suited to someone eager to contribute to clinical operations, work with technical and research teams, and help improve patient outcomes through better data processes and quality controls.
Key responsibilities
- Help prepare and review ultrasound data for analysis.
- Improve the flow of remote data collection with clinical research collaborators.
- Assist with quality assurance activities for the company’s solutions.
- Support tasks and projects tied to regulatory compliance.
- Work with the data science and machine learning team on data processing needs.
Required profile
Candidates should have practical experience using data analysis tools such as Excel and Python, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and good interpersonal abilities are also important.
Applicants must have completed at least their second year and be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Canada in a field such as Biology, Pre-Med, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
The position requires comfort with a hybrid schedule, including 2–3 days per week on site, and the ability to work from the Toronto office at 155 Queens Quay East.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open only to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred background
Additional value will be given to candidates with prior biomedical research experience, experience in the medical device industry or clinical trial environments, and familiarity with ultrasound data and imaging concepts.
