Role overview
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), part of McKesson, is seeking a Clinical Trial Central Screener to provide centralized support for patient screening across its community-based oncology network. This role contributes to the mission of accelerating cancer research and improving outcomes by helping identify trial candidates, reviewing charts remotely for suitability, and coordinating with site teams when a potential match is found.
What you will do
- Support the central screening workflow for clinical trial matching.
- Act as a connector between SCRI network sites and the Personalized Medicine Operations team to share feedback and help refine processes and tools.
- Contribute to improvements in the Genospace precision medicine platform so patients can be matched to trials more efficiently.
- Escalate problems to the supervisor quickly so screening issues are resolved without delay.
- Assist with deploying, training, and using Genospace at network locations.
- Lead and participate in recurring internal and external cross-functional meetings.
- Develop and sustain productive relationships across the organization.
- Handle other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge and experience needed
Candidates should bring experience in clinical research, especially in oncology settings, along with familiarity with pharmaceutical operations, regulatory processes, clinical trials, and medical terminology. The role requires the ability to interpret research protocols and review patient charts in a clinical environment.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an active Registered Nurse license.
- At least 3 years of experience as a research nurse, preferably in clinical research.
- Hands-on experience with clinical trials.
- Ability to read a protocol and determine whether a patient matches it.
Mandatory expectations
