Role Overview
The Clinical Trial Associate, working within Rater Services, is responsible for supporting multiple functions to ensure timely execution of the Cogstate Rater Training Program. This position acts as a key intermediary among functional teams such as Scale Management, Clinician Network, Science, and Site Training to deliver training and monitoring for clinical trials efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate real-time records of tasks, communications, and site interactions through trackers and email management.
- Adapt and reprioritize assignments promptly based on evolving study requirements, working independently.
- Mentor junior team members and oversee their outputs to uphold quality standards.
- Support Rater Services Managers in assigned activities with minimal supervision.
- Serve as the main contact for study sites, raters, and CROs from initiation through study close-out.
- Ensure progress and timely completion of project tasks aligned with client deliverables.
- Provide operational support and direct communication with site staff throughout study duration.
- Manage and track phase I through III clinical trials in accordance with project statements of work.
- Communicate proactively about key project milestones and deliverables with project management and sponsors.
- Take on the Rater Training Lead role for small to medium-sized trials when required.
- Coordinate communications and scheduling with external consultants (LEADs).
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years relevant work experience.
- At least two years of experience associated with clinical trials.
- Experience in CRA or CRO roles is advantageous.
- Background in project management or service-oriented sectors preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with team members, clients, and third-party providers.
- Self-motivated, quick learner capable of independent planning and proactive execution.
- High proficiency with computers and clinical software platforms preferred.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-growing work environment.

Salary Range
The annual compensation range for this role is 95000 to 110000 Australian dollars.
