About the Diabetes Care Team

Position Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Science Team at Abbott's Witney site. The team is instrumental in producing timely, high-quality technical reports compliant with MDR and IVDR standards for Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) products, supporting CE marking and enabling sustained global medical device supply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Critically review and appraise clinical data related to ADC and competitive devices.
  • Prepare precise and clear technical documentation based on comprehensive data assessments.
  • Collect and evaluate clinical evidence from diverse sources including scientific literature and post-market surveillance data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and scientific writing expertise within a dynamic team setting.
  • Present data findings effectively to support team and organizational goals.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Possess a higher education degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with a focus on scientific writing and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines while taking ownership of assigned work.
  • Show proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and preferably Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Experience in a regulated scientific industry environment is desirable.
