Role overview
The Clinical Research Project Manager will own the full lifecycle of clinical trial recruitment projects, including planning, execution, tracking, control, and closure. This role is accountable for scope, team coordination, resources, budget, and overall project outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop practical project plans that support the setup and successful delivery of clinical trial initiatives.
- Align with internal and external stakeholders on scope, timelines, and success measures.
- Monitor delivery of project tasks and ensure activities are completed on time to meet enrollment performance targets.
- Evaluate work handled by the Projects team and the Patient Enrollment Center team.
- Lead client meetings and maintain clear, effective communication throughout the project.
- Identify improvement opportunities and put forward strategies that strengthen project performance.
- Assess risks, spot issues early, and take action to reduce the chance of disruption.
- Develop and maintain relationships with advocacy groups and industry partners involved in clinical trial work.
- Take ownership of 1-2 ad hoc initiatives that improve the Projects team’s operations.
- Support renewals, extensions, and expansion efforts for assigned projects and clients when needed.
- Keep working relationships strong with research sites and help train them on the platform.
- Assist business development by joining client discussions and sharing relevant insight and recommendations.
- Research project conditions for potential and active programs to support Business Development and Client Operations.
- Manage 1-2 project associates if assigned.

- You hold a bachelor’s degree.

Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a project coordinator or project manager.
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical research, or equivalent academic preparation.
- Strong people skills for working with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid analytical and critical thinking ability.
- Comfort working through uncertainty while keeping projects on track.
- Ability to communicate confidently and respond quickly under pressure.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to motivate others.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resources at once.
- Results-driven approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- Flexibility and effective time management to meet deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in business or a healthcare-related subject is a plus.
- Prior project management experience in healthcare is an advantage.
- Experience working with clients in a B2B SaaS environment is a plus.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000.
