Role Overview
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will support the handling, documentation, and coordination of sample- and data-related processes connected to clinical studies and related projects. The role combines administrative precision, scientific workflow support, and close communication with study teams and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and register specimen material for clinical studies and reference testing.
- Process and resolve data queries.
- Track and monitor workflows tied to samples within clinical studies and other associated projects.
- Prepare materials and documentation before and after evaluations.
- Record the outcomes of pathological assessments.
- Carry out plausibility checks and prepare follow-up re-evaluations.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Enter data and keep databases up to date.
- Prepare shipments of samples.
- Communicate with study teams and study sites/centers.
- Work closely with project management and other teams within Tissue Biomarker Services.
Requirements
- Completed training as a foreign-language secretary, a similar commercial qualification, or an equivalent credential.
- Background or knowledge in the life sciences or clinical research is advantageous.
- Very strong written and spoken German and English skills.
- Good command of computer systems.
- Ability to work well in a team.
