About the Role

The Clinical Research Coordinator supports the execution of clinical research studies by managing day-to-day activities such as obtaining participant consent, collecting and organizing study data, and assisting in the preparation of regulatory and grant documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately gathers and logs study data, entering all relevant information into the research database.
  • Secures informed consent from study participants under minimal supervision and educates them on study protocols and requirements.
  • Provides support in various research-related tasks including answering phone inquiries, screening candidates for study eligibility, registering participants with sponsors, and administering lifestyle questionnaires.
  • Assists with the preparation and submission of grant applications and institutional documentation such as IRB and Grants & Contracts filings.
  • Maintains all source documentation and participant files following institutional protocols; conducts thorough chart reviews to ensure data integrity.
  • Manages the handling, delivery, and shipment of clinical specimens as outlined in study protocols.
  • Prepares study documentation and materials for monitoring visits and audits.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned to support clinical research activities.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or a closely related field.
  • No prior experience is mandatory; however, one year of research experience is preferred.
